Psychotherapy is a treatment based on the relationship between an individual and a psychologist. Based on dialogue, it provides a supportive environment that allows you to talk openly with someone who is objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental. Yes, most of our patients are referred via health insurers such as Bupa, AXA, WPA, Vitality, Cigna. If your insurer is not listed, get in touch and we can probably work with them.
This will be negotiated between both parties depending on the nature of the struggle. Sessions are usually once a fortnight so that there is time for processing in between.
Just get in touch via the contact form and we’ll contact you to discuss a time that’s suitable. Bear in mind you may not get an immediate answer if Shradha is in clinic with other patients.
Prices range from £100 per session. Many patients are covered under private medical insurance. See more.
For Shradha to be able to help you, it is important that you and her can make a connection to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. It can be difficult at first to relax and open up, and not everyone can gel with each other. Giving the process a chance and trying a few sessions is important.
The number of sessions depends on the difficulties you may be facing and how long the issues have been going on. Traditionally, we say it can vary from 6 to 10 sessions, but it could be less or more depending on the issue at hand.
We have private clinics several days a week from an office in Mere Green near to Sainsbury’s. Currently many patients are choosing remote video sessions via Zoom/Skype/Whatsapp.
Yes, of course, unless there is a fear of you causing harm to yourself or others. This is a standard confidentiality clause used in the medical profession, and should it need to be broken, then naturally, it would be discussed with you beforehand.
